Apodaca Hill Residence

This home was designed for a young family of four and is located in the deep heart of Santa Fe’s historic district. The outside facades have to conform to the Santa Fe Historic District’s stringent requirements and hence use a traditional vernacular vocabulary. The circulation pattern and materials are contemporary; an open plan with a direct relationship to the outdoors. The entry courtyard, with its daybed, makes an intimate space for relaxing and gazing into the starry nights. The rear portal creates a perfect place for entertaining and outdoor dining. Construction begins summer 2020.
